This copy has stamp on front cover not on website photo , back cover and side A label. The title track is awesome. Listen to "Everything but you". LP looks unplayed, cover has minor wear at spine otherwise lovely shape. Listen to "The jeep is jumping". Clean record, cover on this copy has round shop sticker on front not on website photo.

Listen to "Jones". Shiny record with a few surface marks only. Cover looks ok on front but is graded VG due to one large rip and a couple of small rips on opening edge back.

Small shade in run-in on side 1 not affecting play. Many if not all tracks have been released on EP's before this. Listen to "Andalucia". Listen to the Sonny Rollins track "Paul's Pal". Record has surface marks that affect play with light background noise.

Cover has stamp on front and back plus gold stereo sticker on front. LP is glossy with some minor marks, plays well. Cover has a little light wear, still looks very decent.

US original, Van Gelder in dead wax. Great track that still doesn't get the attention it deserves but no wonder with a cover like that. US original, nice and clean copy in shrink, this copy has two drill holes. Cover has ringwear, small sticker on front not in photo. US original, red label with 2 eye and sound stereo. Small marken pen squiggle on "Black Byrd" label not on photo. US original in company sleeve. LP has plenty of soft sleeve scuffs, plays ok but not perfect.

The beautiful laminated cover has a bit of ring wear on front, tiny lamination peeling and sticker on back. First UK pressing from but two years after the first US original. Slight shading in vinyl causes a very light noise in the run in of Side A, hardly noticeable once the music starts. The station was located in a suite in the Virgin Island Hilton with the control room overlooking the harbor. I used to put on John's "Mystical soul" lp and just track an entire side and watch the Caribbean day unfold He was truly amazing!

Thanks for your blog and insights.. He started John on the violin in elementary school. Impressed with his talent, Dad gave him additional training beyond what the public schools offered and was very sad to learn of his passing today, 9 years later.

John Blair is one of the most underrated violinist of all time. He never received the credit he truly deserved.

When the show started they introduced "John Blair " I remember thinking who the hell is this and why is he wasting my time. He played several songs from Southern Love. I was mesmerized. To this day it is one of my favorite albums. Which I still have. I have often wondered what became of him. John Blair was a very interesting master.

It was a master of the violin and a master in the martial arts world. My name is unimportant I was his Road manager and manager between the years of to John had few friends for very loyal ones.
